Every life is like plant
Like a seed, a young child is worth nurturing.
We’re not here to control children.
We’re here to nurture their growth with care, with wisdom, and with awe.
We don’t have the ability to determine outcomes, but we can create the conditions for a flourishing life:
- Giving them soil of dignity and belonging
- Giving them a climate of safety and truth
- Giving them daily nutrients like respect, patience, honesty, and courage
We can’t control the outcome.
We’re not building machines.
We’re tending souls, each one unique, sacred, and full of possibility.
What we can do is show them:
- Why they matter
- Why others matter
- What they’re capable of
- How to choose good and noble motivations wisely
- That their life has meaning, even in struggle
Training up children with virtues, is not social engineering.
It’s not behavior control.
It’s not a new program.
It’s ancient wisdom applied with humility and love.
Giving the child the best chance at being the best possible person they can be, happy and fulfilled with meaning and purpose.
