Bring This to Your School
You don’t need a title or position to make a difference. All you need is a little courage, a little time, and the belief that our kids deserve more.
Here’s how to start:

Step 1:
Make Contact With the School
- Send an email to a teacher, administrator, or school board member.
- Keep it short, positive, and hopeful.
- Remind them this is not an attack on the school - it’s a tool for empowerment.
- A sample email is included for guidance.
Step 2:
Print the Posters
- Download and print the 12 Virtue Posters
- Deliver them to a teacher who might be interested in trying something new. Many are tired or frustrated.
- You’re not selling anything - you’re planting a seed.
- Personal, every teacher I've ever encountered has been driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact in the life of a child.

Step 3:
Attend a School Board Meeting
- Ask to be placed on the agenda.
- If public comment is available, use your voice with kindness and clarity.
- Stay within the 3 minute time frame (that's respect)
- Be prepared to hand the Board a copy of the Virtue Project Proposal
Step 4:
Be Respectful. Others are watching
- Show up with dignity and grace.
- You are not there to argue - you are there to invite.
- The tone of your message will matter more than your words.
- Practice your talk.
- Find a teacher friend to practice with.
- Connect with other concerned parents and teachers.
- Print The Parent Handout

Step 5:
Follow the Script
- A sample talking script is available to keep your words focused, calm, and persuasive.
- Share your “why.” Speak from the heart.
- Make it personal - but not emotional.
